West Coast Accommodation
This coastline is well known for its great fishing, artists as
well as crafters nestling in the beautiful Swartland and Coastland landscapes.
The scenic beauty of this coastline is complemented by its abundant
sea life, with dishes of mussels, crayfish or line fish pulled from the cold
water of the Bengula Current, offering the visitor a rich and unique fishing
experience.
September at Darling is the Flower festival and Spring Flower
Season when a profusion of flowers carpet the fields along the west coast. April
is the season for the most spectacular sunsets.
Some of the interesting places to visit are the West Coast Ostrich Farm at Van
Schoorsdrift Road, Philadeliphia, The Water Wheel at Mamre Mission.
